Karen Hopwood is a Professional Celebrant, having trained with the Institute of Professional Celebrants and is a member of The Celebrant Circle Inner Circle. She is friendly, professional, polished and has a clear, strong speaking voice. Karen decided to become a Celebrant after some life-changing experiences herself. She brings fun to weddings, baby namings, boat namings and building dedications and brings compassion for others into her funeral services. She lives in the beautiful New Forest in Hampshire, England, but is willing to travel to conduct destination wedding ceremonies*.

Funny, romantic, traditional, modern – your wedding or vow renewal ceremony can be any of those things. Karen spends a lot of time talking to both parties to find out what they want to say at one of the most important days of their lives. She then takes that information and writes a bespoke and very personal ceremony around that information. All information is checked with you for accuracy before the actual event itself.

* Your local Funeral Director would usually recommend my services and I would work with them to visit the family and to write the funeral service but you can also contact Karen directly and she will speak to your Funeral Director.

Let Karen help you to get the right service for your boat naming or re-naming, and to make the event fun and joyful.
*Please note: It is your responsibility to make sure that all legal requirements are met in whatever country your ceremony is held in. Karen can, of course, assist in finding that information for you. A non-refundable initial payment of 25% will hold the date of your ceremony and we won’t book any other ceremonies for that day.
